We have plenty to be grateful for at LUX BOX. July 28th marks our seven year anniversary as a company. We are still young but overjoyed by this milestone. And we look forward to celebrating with our talented staff! We are so grateful to each of them and appreciate their decision to be part of LUX BOX. Our hardworking team is the reason we are here. Their flexibility, dedication and loyalty allows us to take on complicated, large-scale projects. They are our secret weapon for quick turnaround and last minute emergencies. It's such a pleasure to be on this journey together.
A great way to show people you value them is to throw a party! Our Portland studio lends itself perfectly to entertainment, with plenty of space for dining tables and food stations. In 2021, we celebrated five years as a company with our closest friends and family. We enjoyed a fabulous catered lunch from High Roller Lobster Company and it did not disappoint. *chef's kiss* It was truly a wonderful experience to welcome everyone to our studio. And of course, it wouldn't be a LUX BOX event without a gift. For our much appreciated business partners, vendors and customers, we marked the occasion with sleekly designed Frank Greene tumblers. It was the perfect item for a surprise summer gift, complete with personalized engraving.
We love an excuse to treat our staff. In the past, we have surprised them with dinners, floral arrangements, locally made candles, and countless items from our ULINE product giveaways. The drying effects of crinkle paper take their toll in the winter months; manicure gift cards are a must! And who doesn't love company swag? These stylish L.L.Bean jackets (see photo), embroidered with our company logo were such a hit. You can never have too many layers in Maine!
This year, we are closing the studio for an afternoon and taking a little LUX BOX field trip. Our team has excellent taste and always appreciates a fine dining experience. We're excited to enjoy an intimate lunch at The Cumberland Club in downtown Portland. We are so looking forward to kicking back as a group and clinking glasses to our past and future achievements. As anyone who started a business from home will tell you, it's quite the journey. But humble beginnings make success all the more sweet.
