Boston Marathon 2021

The Brigham Stepping Strong Marathon team is a group of amazing runners who raise funds to support trauma research at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Our client approached us looking for a custom gift to thank the hospital charity team for their support and continued Boston Strong spirit. While the client wanted the gift to feel celebratory, they also wanted it to include useful items for the runners both during and post-marathon.

From fun running socks to sports recovery gel, we curated items that the runners could use every step of the way! As a memento item, we included a picture frame, which provided its own challenge when it arrived in packaging that didn’t work with the aesthetic of the box. It was important to keep the frame packaged to eliminate the risk of damage but to keep the box design cohesive, we elected to wrap them to fit the theme. The client was very specific that no gifts should be opened prior to the virtual event, and to accommodate this, we included specific instructions for each recipient. Having every recipient open their gift together during the event made for a fun team-building experience before the race!
